Emerita professors to participate in the Canberra International Film Festival

Emerita Professor Desley Deacon will participate in the Canberra International Film Festival on 26 and 27 August, held at the National Film and Sound Archive threatre.

The author of Judith Anderson – Australian Star, First Lady of the American Stage, Desley will introduce the 1940 classic, Rebecca at 7:30pm on the 26 August: https://ciff.com.au/event/rebecca/

Another Anderson film, Pursued, will be screened at 11am on Saturday the 27 August. Desley will introduce it, and Professor Jill Matthews, also an ANU emerita historian of film, will take charge of the post-screening Q and A.
